Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State says everything is for a season, including suffering, and  Nigerians should regard the difficulties they may be facing as something that will give way to great things.

The governor, in a message of goodwill to Christians as they celebrate Easter, urged residents to take the opportunity the Easter season presents to reflect on the suffering and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ which signifies that even suffering has its end.

Fintiri stated, “As we enter into this Easter Season, let's remember that it is a season for sacrificing ourselves, the same season that Jesus was sacrificed for the sake of our sins and peace. He died for our healing and not for destruction.”

In the governor's Easter message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor prayed that citizens continue with unity and oneness, so that Adamawa and Nigeria could become respected state and country.

Fintiri encouraged all Nigerians to translate faith and prayers into action, highlighting that religious beliefs should be shown in how people live and work together.

While wishing Christians happy Easter celebrations, the governor stressed that if people want to stand out, it should be through their actions and the benefits others gain from them.
