The Companion, an association of Muslim men in Business and professions, has congratulated eminent legal luminary, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, on the conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), describing the recognition as a well-deserved honour.

In a statement jointly signed by its National Amir, Imam Nojeem Jimoh, and National Publicity Secretary, Prof Tunde Akanni, the group expressed gratitude to Allah while celebrating Ali as a worthy mentor, distinguished professional, and consistent figure in Nigeria’s legal and intellectual space.

The association noted that the honorary doctorate goes beyond a ceremonial title, characterising it as a profound validation of Ali’s lifelong commitment to justice, legal scholarship, and the broader ideals of human and Islamic philosophy.

According to the group, Ali’s career reflects a rare blend of professional excellence and moral integrity.

The Companion further highlighted Ali’s contributions to legal literature and academia, noting that his numerous publications have been widely acclaimed. It added that his recent appointment as Professor of Practice at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti underscored his role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical legal application, while mentoring a new generation of lawyers and scholars.
