…as Olori, Omoyibo others launch Ukodo nation

Thousands of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) pressure group, Ukodo Nation Forum (UNF), gathered in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, on Saturday, to pledge support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.

At the event held at Oleh Township Stadium during the inauguration of the Isoko nation chapter of the forum, Governor Oborevwori assured residents of continued development and urged support for the policies and programmes of President Tinubu ahead of the general elections.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Johnson Erijo, the governor said, “I am delighted to join you today for the official launch of the Ukodo Nation Forum, Isoko Nation chapter, a timely and purposeful initiative that reinforces our collective resolve to sustain good governance and ensure continuity of leadership in Delta State and at the federal level.

“This Forum comes at a defining moment as we deepen the implementation of the M.O.R.E Agenda. I urge you to remain focused on building and strengthening unity across Isokoland and mobilising support to consolidate our achievements and secure an even stronger mandate going forward.

“Let this Forum serve as a rallying point for engagement, mobilisation and sustained development. It’s a well-conceived platform capable of galvanising support and translating goodwill into electoral successes.

“As a government, we remain fully committed to delivering tangible results across Delta State. With your continued support and partnership, we’ll accomplish even more. It’s therefore my honour to formally declare Ukodo Nation Forum, Isoko Nation Chapter, is officially launched.”

He added that there was no alternative to Tinubu in 2027 and called on Nigerians to support the President to continue his reforms.

Convener and national leader of the forum, Olorogun Morrison Olori, said the group would mobilise strong support for both leaders in Isoko.

“Everybody is seeing what Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is doing in Delta. No governor in Delta State has done nearly what Governor Oborevwori has done in three years.

"Oborevwori is a magician. He has just started. By the time he has governed Delta for eight years, he would have transformed the state. We are proud of him. This is why we are mobilising support for him. He deserves a second term.

“Also, President Tinubu has created the enabling environment for state governors such as Oborevwori to work through his economic reforms. Who else could have done what Mr. President is doing? Up to this moment, he has no alternative in 2027. He has done well. With another four years, he would consolidate these reforms. The Isoko people have given their word that they would support President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori. There is no opposition here,” Olori declared.

Chairman of Isoko South LGA, Hon. Ovoke Warri, also pledged support for the re-election of both leaders, saying the council would work with the forum and other groups to mobilise voters.

Founder of Grace Mission and notable philanthropist, High Chief Daniel Omoyibo, also known as DANMOTECH, said both Tinubu and Oborevwori would win again.

“I have given Governor Sheriff Oborvwori and President Tinubu my support. They should be allowed to complete their eight years. God has cemented their second term, as you have seen here today. The most popular political pressure group –Grace Mission – has decided to throw their weight behind the Ukodo Nation Forum to mobilise support for Tinubu and Oborevwori.

“I’ll tell you the truth; Nigeria has been living a fake life. But today, Tinubu has come to do the needful, and I’ll advise everyone to throw their weight behind him in 2027. I don’t see any opposition against him. He is the best man for the job.

“Also, all Deltans should support Governor Oborevwori in 2027. You can go around the state, and you’ll see a lot of construction jobs going on. Under Oborevwori, we are enjoying good road networks, upgrade of health facilities across the state.”

In his acceptance speech, the new Isoko coordinator of UNF, Prince Larry Efekodha, said the group would mobilise Isoko people for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori

The ceremony was attended by notable APC chieftains from across the state, including Admiral John Kpokpogri (Rtd), High Chief Emmanuel Panama, Dr. Roy Oke (Delta Central Chairman, UNF), Dr. Anthony Ugbodoma, Major Egone, Pastor Ovie Kanaba, Raymond Edijala and Mrs Elohor Okpamwa.
