Grassroots Mobilisation for Tinubu (GMT) has received Asiwaju Gen-Z Lagos, a youth movement championing the second-term agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The team, led by Pamilerin Bamgboye, was accompanied by Tunji Alamutu, Sulaimon Agbaje and Kharima Adeyoola, visited the leadership of GMT to present the vision and mission of their association, which is focused on mobilising young voters in Lagos State in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The team leader emphasised that the Gen-Z age bracket represents the largest block of new voters, yet remains the least involved in political participation. According to her, the gap has often resulted in a generation quick to criticise government’s policies but slow to engage in the democratic process.

The Director-General, GNT, Prince Bisi Yusuf, expressed satisfaction at the emergence of the organisation, describing it as timely and strategic. He commended the young leaders, noting that “great nations are built when the energy of the youth meets the wisdom of experience.” Yusuf assured the delegation of GMT’s backing, pledging support to ensure the success of their mobilisation.
