President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated elder statesman and Lagos political figure, Busura Alebiosu, on his 90th birthday, describing him as a pillar of wisdom and a custodian of Nigeria’s political history.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded the nonagenarian’s decades of service to public life, particularly his contributions to grassroots mobilisation and the advancement of unity and development in Lagos State.

Tinubu noted that Alebiosu’s enduring influence in governance, especially as a member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, has continued to provide guidance for leadership decisions and strengthen democratic institutions in the state.

The President said the elder statesman represents a generation of leaders whose sacrifices laid the foundation for the country’s political stability and growth.

“Alhaji Alebiosu represents a generation of elders whose sacrifices laid the foundation for the growth and stability we enjoy today. His commitment to truth, discipline, and service remains an inspiration to younger generations,” Tinubu said.

He added that the celebrant’s legacy of patriotism and quality leadership should serve as a guiding light for Nigerians across all walks of life.

The President also prayed for more years of good health, peace, and fulfilment for the Ijebu high chief, noting that his life of service continues to resonate beyond Lagos State.
