President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Africa’s foremost industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his transformative impact on Nigeria’s economy and industrial landscape.

In a statement issued yesterday  by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangote as a visionary entrepreneur whose investments have positioned Nigeria as a hub for large-scale manufacturing and industrial production.

Tinubu specifically acknowledged the contributions of the Chairman of the Dangote Group to economic growth and development across Nigeria and the African continent.

He noted that Dangote’s resilience, innovation, and commitment to excellence have led to the establishment of critical industrial projects, including the multi-billion-dollar Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company, as well as cement manufacturing plants spread across several African countries.

According to the President, these investments have not only enhanced Nigeria’s industrial capacity but have also generated employment opportunities and contributed significantly to infrastructure development.

“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate's role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential,” Tinubu said, describing the businessman as a shining example of African enterprise.

The President also commended Dangote’s philanthropic interventions through the Dangote Foundation, noting that its programmes in health, education, and poverty alleviation have had far-reaching impact on millions of lives.

Tinubu added that Dangote’s achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across Africa, underscoring his enduring influence on the continent’s economic trajectory.

As the industrialist marks another year, the President prayed for his continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity.
