President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, on her 70th birthday, describing her as a public servant who served with distinction and integrity.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined Sosan’s family, friends, and associates to celebrate what he called her life of service to humanity and dedication to God.
Tinubu recalled that Sosan, who is a prominent politician, began her career as a teacher, where she inspired many young people and promoted the importance of education and knowledge.
He also noted that she served as deputy governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2011 alongside former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, adding that she currently represents Lagos State as a commissioner at the Federal Civil Service Commission.
“Serving people comes naturally to her. As deputy governor of Lagos, Sosan served with distinction and integrity. She worked harmoniously with Governor Fashola and was resolutely committed to the socio-economic development of Lagos State,” the President said.
Tinubu prayed for more years for the former deputy governor and wished her a continued life of impact.
