President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated both the Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Aneke, and Zinox founder, Stan Ekeh, as they mark their birth anniversaries.  Ekeh turned 70 today.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President extended warm greetings to the Air Force Chief and joined his family, friends, and associates in celebrating the special day.

Tinubu prayed that God Almighty would grant Air Marshal Aneke continued wisdom, strength, and good health as he pilots the affairs of the Nigerian Air Force at a critical period in the nation’s security landscape.

He praised the Chief of the Air Staff for his patriotism, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The president described Ekeh as one of Nigeria’s pioneering innovators in the information technology sector.

While joining family, friends and associates in celebrating the accomplished entrepreneur, the president recalled the landmark launch of Zinox Technologies Limited in 2001, which ushered in indigenous manufacturing of computers and accessories, describing it as a groundbreaking moment for local technology production in Nigeria.

According to the President, Mr Ekeh’s bold entry into computer manufacturing at a time when the sector was largely dominated by foreign brands demonstrated vision, resilience and patriotism.

He acknowledged the Zinox Group chairman’s immense contributions to the growth of Nigeria’s manufacturing base and the development of the nation’s information technology ecosystem.

President Tinubu also commended the entrepreneur for distinguishing himself as a pace-setter and dynamic industrialist, whose efforts have helped position Nigeria as a growing hub for technology and innovation in Africa.

“As the chairman of Zinox Group celebrates this milestone, President Tinubu wishes him good health and more years of groundbreaking accomplishments,” the statement added.
