President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to renowned poet, journalist and editor, Tunde Olusunle, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Olusunle for his exemplary contributions to Kogi State and to national development.
Tinubu noted that Olusunle served three governors in Kogi State in information and media management roles between 1992 and 1998, before going on to serve as a presidential aide from 1999 to 2007.
The President praised the celebrant’s enterprise and intellectual depth, describing his media engagement as robust and impactful, particularly in his role as a journalist and watchdog in society.

He further highlighted Olusunle’s prolific output in creative writing and editing, noting his involvement in more than a dozen books in the past four years.
Tinubu also acknowledged Olusunle’s commitment to nurturing younger talents in the media and literary space, commending his mentorship of emerging writers and journalists.
While celebrating his achievements, the President prayed for Olusunle’s continued good health, longevity and increased wisdom in the years ahead.
