President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, on his birthday, praising his commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development.

In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President joined the governor’s family and the people of Akwa Ibom State in celebrating the occasion, describing Eno as a diligent apostle of people-focused leadership.

Tinubu commended the governor’s efforts in promoting unity, inclusion and security in the state, noting that such values remain critical to sustainable development.

He observed that Governor Eno has demonstrated a strong capacity to bridge divides and foster collective purpose among the people, aligning them with the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The President emphasised that peace and unity are indispensable to progress, adding that the Akwa Ibom governor has shown commendable leadership in bringing people together across perceived divides.

He also lauded Eno’s social intervention programmes, particularly the provision of furnished, solar-powered homes for the indigent and the distribution of food items to thousands of vulnerable households across the state.

Tinubu further appreciated the governor’s support for his administration and prayed for continued good health and strength for him to sustain his service to the people.

“President Tinubu thanks the governor for his support and prays that God Almighty grant him more years of good health as he continues to work for the advancement of the Akwa Ibom people and the nation,” the statement said.
