President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday described Nigerian business mogul Mike Adenuga as a “colossus” whose imprint of excellence cuts across key sectors of the economy, as he congratulated him on his birthday.
In a personally signed tribute marking Adenuga’s birthday on Wednesday, the President praised the Globacom and Conoil chairman for his towering influence in telecommunications, oil and gas, banking, and real estate, noting that his life story embodies resilience, vision, and enterprise.
“Dr Mike Adeniyi Adenuga… is a colossus. From telecommunications, real estate, banking and oil and gas, he has put an imprint of excellence on the Nigerian enterprise,” the President stated.
Tinubu lauded Adenuga, fondly called “The Guru,” as a businessman with the “Midas touch,” whose rise from humble beginnings to becoming one of Africa’s foremost entrepreneurs reflects the immense possibilities within Nigeria’s economic landscape.
