President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dr Muhammed Yunusa Ishola Salami, former Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Health Management Board.
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late Salami as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to the development of the health sector in Lagos State would be long remembered.
Tinubu extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Salami family, particularly his wife, Alhaja Muinat Salami, as well as friends, associates and colleagues affected by the loss.
The President noted that the deceased distinguished himself through commitment, professionalism and a strong sense of duty, earning the respect of colleagues and admiration across the public service.
He said Salami’s service in the Lagos State health system contributed meaningfully to strengthening healthcare administration and delivery.

Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
He also prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved family and the fortitude to bear what he described as a painful and irreparable loss.
Dr Salami served as Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Health Management Board, where he played key roles in health sector administration before his passing.
