The United Kingdom (UK)-based House of Representatives aspirant, Otunba Toba Oloyede, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies.

Oloyede aspires to represent Isin-Oke-Ero-Irepodun-Ekiti at the House of Representatives.

He said the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President “is a governing philosophy that recognises Nigeria’s potential and is charting a deliberate cause to unlock it.”

Oloyede said this in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, when he declared his aspiration.

Said he: ‘’From the bold economic reforms designed to stabilise our currency and attract investment, to the student loan programme opening university doors for our young people, to the massive investment in infrastructure and social intervention, foundation is being laid for a Nigeria that works.

‘’On security, Mr. President has taken decisive steps: investing in the equipment and welfare of our armed forces, strengthening intelligence coordination, and launching targeted interventions to restore safety to communities across the nation.

“These are winds of positive change blowing across our state and nation. What our constituency needs is a representative skilled and connected enough to harness those winds for our people.

“Governor AbdulRazaq is building Kwara State. President Tinubu is rebuilding Nigeria.

“We need a representative who can bring both forces to work for Isin, Irepodun, Oke-Ero and Ekiti.’’

A first-class monarch in Kwara State, Oba Haroun Suleiman, has urged his subjects to support the House of Representatives aspiration of Theophilus Apere.

Apere, a quantity surveyor, is aspiring to represent Ifelodun-Offa-Oyun Federal Constituency.

Oba Suleiman, the Olupako of Share in Ifelodun Local Government, said this in Ilorin at the declaration of intent by Apere.

Represented by the Elemosho Adeyi of Share, AbdulGani Ekundayo, the monarch urged the people of Ifelodun Local Government where Apere hails from to bury their irreconcilable differences and ensure the emergence of the aspirant at the primary.

He added that “the aspirant is highly dependable, courageous. He has a milk of human kindness.”

Corroborating the monarch, Yeyeluwa of Share, Alhaji Barakat Atunse, solicited support for the aspirant, noting: “Please give him your mandate. Let us be united in our local government so that the other two councils in the constituency will support.”

Apere said: “Today as I step forward to serve as a member of the House of Representatives. I am bringing experience, vision and a proven record of impact.

“I am prepared to represent the people with dedication, accountability and a clear focus of results.”
