It is the third visit to states by the President beginning with Plateau State to commiserate with the government and the people over last week’s Palm Sunday killings.
He was in Ogun State on Saturday to inaugurate the newly- built Gateway Airport, Gateway Airlines and road.
On Friday the President will head for Bayelsa from where he will return to Abuja.
In a statement, Commissioner for Transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi said the closures of some roads were necessary to ensure safety and the smooth conduct of events across the affected corridors.
He urged motorists to plan their movements and avoid designated routes during the specified hours to minimise traffic disruptions and delays.

Tomorrow, two separate events will take place between 9am and 1pm, including the inauguration of the Tolu Schools Complex, which will impact traffic in Olodi Apapa and Ajegunle.
The government stated that another event will be held later in the day, between 4pm and 7pm on Victoria Island.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and other traffic enforcement personnel will be deployed to manage vehicular movement and provide assistance across affected areas.
The government appealed to road users to cooperate with traffic officials and adhere strictly to directives to ensure smooth traffic flow during the period.
