Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage will host a grand finale concert on Sunday, April 26, for more than 100 emerging creatives who have completed training under her music foundation program.
The event is scheduled to be held at the National Theatre, now known as the Wole Soyinka Center for Culture and the Creative Arts, in Lagos.
The concert will be anchored by Darey Art Alade and Kie Kie, and will showcase ensemble performances and original compositions developed during the training. It will also feature scholarship awards for standout participants.

Tagged “Berklee in Nigeria: Tiwa Savage Emerging Musicianship Intensive,” the programme ran from April 22 to 26 and provided intensive, hands-on training in performance, songwriting, music production, and the business of music.
Speaking ahead of the finale, Savage said the initiative reflects her broader mission to bridge the gap between talent and access within Africa’s creative industry.
“I want the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation to be a bridge that connects African talent to global opportunities, a recognized institution that consistently develops talent from Nigeria and across Africa,” she said.
She added that her vision extends beyond artist development to building industry leaders.
“I don’t just want to launch artists; I want to build leaders, producers, executives, and owners who will shape the future of the music industry,” she said.

Savage noted that the foundation was created to support underrepresented creatives by providing access to world-class training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
She said alumni of the program are expected to grow into film composers, label executives, and mentors who will, in turn, support the next generation.
“Music changed my life, but talent alone isn’t enough, especially when access is limited. I want to open people’s eyes to the full scope of what’s possible in music,” she added.
