Actress Tonto Dikeh has fulfilled a promise to support a JSS student's education by providing new school supplies and financial assistance.

The student, who lost his mother, will receive support through university, Dikeh announced on Instagram.

Dikeh also gave the boy's father N1,000,000 to start a business, aiming to help him provide for his three children.

Additionally, she donated 10 laptops to the school to enhance digital learning.

She wrote, “Last week, during our evangelism outreach in junior secondary school Durumi II, a promise was made to support a young boy’s education from JSS1 all the way to the university. By God’s grace, my team and I returned to JSS Durumi2 on Monday to fulfil that promise.

"We visited his school, met with his father, and provided him with new school bags, sandals, etc., and also extended support to a few other students.

Most importantly, I made the financial provision needed for him to continue his education without interruption throughout his junior secondary education.

"But the story didn’t end there. While speaking with his father, a widower raising three children alone, I felt led to do more. I helped him start a small business he had always hoped to venture into with ₦1,000,000, so he could provide for his family with dignity and stability.

"We are not stopping there; we have just ordered 10 laptops for the school to enable them to teach & enhance their students digitally. This is what the Gospel looks like, not just words, but action”.

The actress has been recognised for her philanthropic efforts, recently announcing free JAMB registration for 1,000 students in select cities.
