Trabzonspor are sweating on the fitness of Paul Onuachu for this weekend’s epic Turkish Super Lig clash against closest rivals Fenerbache.

Onuachu, who has scored 15 goals in the Super Lig so far, missed training yesterday even though officials said this was more as a precaution because his injury is not serious.

This week, the giant Super Eagles striker was named as the player who has thus far made the biggest impact in the league this season after his goals earned Trabzonspor 19 points in the league.

Third-placed Trabzonspor welcome second-placed Fenerbache as the title race gathers steam in Turkey. Fenerbache have 49 points from 21 matches, four points ahead of Trabzonspor. Defending champions Galatasaray lead the standings on 52 points.
