OGBOMOSO, NIGERIA – March 2026 The future of enterprise innovation transformation, and youth-led enterprise took center stage at the Tangible 01 Conference, held at the New Auditorium of the Bowen University Teaching Hospital, OGBOMOSO. The event brought together healthcare students, emerging enterprise talents, and innovators for a transformative engagement focused on advancing enterprise thinking, digital innovation, and real-world problem-solving across several ecosystem. The David Oyekunle Prize for Innovation 2026 was awarded at the conference powered through a strategic partnership with the Getitdone Research & Digital Tech Hub, founded by David Oyekunle, a UK Global Talent awardee, and A Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM) chartered membership organization for the project profession in the world. David Oyekunle, a researcher and a practitioner in data and project management, whose vision for the collaboration was driven by a commitment to promote innovation-led mindsets, strengthen enterprise capacity, and bridge the gap between academia and industry practice. This partnership was established to support the organizer's in building a platform that fosters practical innovation, leadership development, and strategic thinking among young professionals and students, particularly within Nigeria enterprise systems.

A Convergence of Emerging Talents and entrepreneurs Leaders

Convened by Bolaji Okesanu and hosted by Olamide Adetayo, the event brought together a dynamic mix of high-performing medical students and young professionals across Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Medical Laboratory Science. The conference featured insightful sessions from leading voices in innovation, leadership, and personal development, alongside a high-level pitch competition designed to test practical problem-solving and enterprise thinking.

The David Oyekunle Prize for Innovation 2026

A major highlight of the event was the David Oyekunle Prize for Innovation, a flagship initiative supporting youth-driven entrepreneur solutions with real-world applicability. This year’s competition showcased a remarkable array of talent, culminating in a historic joint first-place finish before One Heart Foundation finally emerging as the overall winner.
