Oluebube Umejiaku and Faith Samson have been named Imo SWAN Heartland Queens Players of the Month for February and March 2026 respectively.

Umejiaku claimed the February honour after scoring twice and adding an assist in Heartland Queens' 3–1 home win over reigning champions Bayelsa Queens, a display that also earned her a place in the NWFL Team of the Week. She edged fellow nominee Chimebere Opara to the award.

Samson took the March prize despite her side losing to both Ekiti Queens and Edo Queens, earning Woman of the Match recognition in each game. She saw off competition from Victory Odalumen for the honour.

The awards are decided by members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Imo Chapter — an initiative of the Cosmos Chukwuemeka-led executive to recognise outstanding performers throughout the season.

Both players will receive their awards on Wednesday, April 8, during Heartland Queens' home match against Pacesetters Ladies at the Dan Anyiam Stadium. Previous winners include Chizoba Johnson, Emmanuela James and Chisom Otika.
