Uzodimma bags Governor of the Year from UK's Triangle Magazine

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has been honoured with the Governor of the Year Award in recognition of his infrastructural strides and sustained commitment to good governance across the state.
The award was presented on Friday by the Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, at the prestigious Face of Africa Leadership Honours, an event that drew prominent African leaders and stakeholders from across the continent and diaspora.

Governor Uzodimma, who was represented at the ceremony, received the award through the Imo State Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, alongside the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu.
Both officials conveyed the governor’s appreciation for the recognition, describing it as a reflection of the administration’s deliberate focus on road infrastructure, urban renewal, and institutional reforms aimed at improving the standard of living for Imo citizens.

The event recorded a strong presence of Imo indigenes in the diaspora, who turned out in large numbers to celebrate what they described as a well-deserved honour.
