The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of results for the 2026 First Series of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for private candidates.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of results for the 2026 First Series of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for private candidates.

In a statement shared on X on Friday, the examination body disclosed that candidates who participated in the exercise would be able to access their results within 12 hours.

WAEC said the prompt release underscores its commitment to improved service delivery through the adoption of technology and more efficient examination processes.

“The result of CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First Series has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours.

“Our thanks to all stakeholders for cooperating with us to achieve this feat,” the council stated.

The CB-WASSCE is conducted for private candidates as part of WAEC’s ongoing efforts to modernise its examination system and enhance the overall candidate experience through computer-based testing.

Candidates are advised to check their results via WAEC’s official platforms once they become available.
