Actor Clinton Joshua has revealed that he declines kissing roles in movies to maintain control over his career path and avoid being typecast.
In an interview with TVC Entertainment, Joshua said his decision is based on how he wants his career to grow and the kinds of roles he hopes to keep getting.
He said performing well in such scenes could lead producers to repeatedly cast him in similar parts.

Joshua said he is deliberate about his on-screen image and career direction.
He said he does not want to become known for one type of scene.
“If I’m good at it, producers will likely give me the same role over and over again, and I don’t want to kiss half the girls in Nollywood,” he said.
