Veteran actress Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, has opened up about her love for partying, especially events organised by younger actors.

In a recent interview with African A-List, the seasoned actress addressed the criticism she often receives for attending too many parties.

She explained that she genuinely enjoys supporting such events because it reminds her of her own past struggles.

Madam Saje revealed that she once invited people to her event, but many failed to show up.

This experience, she said, made her determined to always support others, particularly up-and-coming actors whose celebrations are often overlooked.

“I also love attending people’s parties, especially those of younger actors people don't talk about that a lot. Because something similar happened to me before – when I invited people, many didn’t show up”, she said.

She also reflected on her difficult early days in the industry, disclosing that she once stole food just to survive and shot several movies without earning any money.

The veteran actress stressed that every job comes with its own challenges.

She advised young people not to rush or try to outrun their destiny, but instead to be patient and wait for their own time to shine.
