Actor Zubby Michael has revealed that he recently donated N10.2 million directly to people in need, describing the gesture as his personal tithe.

In an interview with Broadway TV, the actor said the amount represents 10 per cent of the N102 million he earned from acting fees recently.

Michael explained that he does not attend church or subscribe to paying tithes to religious institutions, preferring instead to give directly to individuals who require support.

He also stated that a recent review of his earnings showed he generated N102 million from acting fees within a short period, not across his entire career.

The actor further described himself as the richest in Nollywood, highlighting his recent financial success.

“For now, I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made N102 million from artists’ fees lately. Not in my whole career, but just recently.

“I donated N10.2 million, which is 10 per cent of the money, to the needy on the street.

“I don’t pay tithe to the church. I don’t go to church. I don’t believe in paying tithe to the church,” he explained.
