Lagos State House of Assembly Deputy Majority Leader, Adedamola Kasunmu, has declared his intention to represent Ikeja Constituency 2 for the fourth term.
He spoke at Renewed Hope Super Empowerment he organised to align with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, targeting shared prosperity and even distribution of wealth among constituents.
Kasunmu said the event is his resolve to put constituents first, with respect to beneficial impact on their economic and social well-being.
He added: “It reflects shared vision for progress and commitment to constituents. It is not just an event, but a demonstration of our belief that a people’s representative must be people-centred.

“The essence of the programme is to carry everyone along. Our constituents, from 500 beneficiaries, each got N100,000 cash and up to 2000 constituents benefited from other equipment and services.
“You can see deep freezers, generators, fans, barber’s kits, sewing kits, hair stying kits, and artisans tools to reshape and enhance their livelihoods.
“We are also giving out two Toyota Hiace buses to APC, 50 PoS machines with N50,000 grant, 50 solar-powered generators, 20 laptops to aid our tech driven youths in Ikeja.
“For the artisans we are giving 25 full barber’s kits, 25 hair styling kits, 20 deep freezers to our market women, 10 fans and generators to 10 security formations in our constituency, and 10 widows will also get N100,000 each.’’
‘‘Outside here we have free medical check-up for our people.
“I remain committed to delivering the dividends of democracy. Let us continue to work together. This is my official declaration to run for the seat for the fourth term, to bring in more goodies for the people.’’
The APC apex leader in Ikeja, Mr. Mayegun Adeogun, said the items would ensure people’s sustenance in the pursuit of livelihood.
A beneficiary, Fabola Olabisi, who runs a bakery, received a solar-powered generator.
