Hip-hop artist MI Abaga has declared veteran rapper Modenine the most respected Nigerian rapper of all time, citing his unique style, commitment to his craft, and significant contribution to the country's rap music scene.

Speaking on the Hip-hop To Afrobeats podcast, M.I Abaga praised Modenine's influence on Nigerian rap, stating that he is a "legend" who has inspired many other artists.

He emphasised that Modenine's artistry and impact earn him the top spot as the most respected Nigerian rapper.
