Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, has given reasons why Governor Biodun Oyebanji deserves second term.
The commissioner in a statement in Ado-Ekiti yesterday said: ’’In every democratic journey, there comes a defining moment when citizens must decide whether progress should be consolidated or disrupted. In Ekiti State today, that moment presents a clear and compelling case for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji.
‘’Ekiti’s political culture has long favoured reason over rhetoric. Judged against that standard, the case for granting Governor Oyebanji a second term rests not on sentiment, but on the practical logic of consolidating gains already underway.
‘’Public service, especially in a state as historically conscious as ours, demands more than ambition. It requires insight, experience, and a deep understanding of institutional evolution. At its core, public service is about trust, competence, and measurable results.
‘’Governor Oyebanji is not merely occupying office; he is an integral part of Ekiti’s developmental journey, deeply woven into its history and institutional growth.
‘’Long before assuming the governorship, he was actively involved in the processes that shaped Ekiti State.
