The management and owners of Ado Bayero Mall have dismissed circulating reports suggesting that the facility has been put up for sale, describing the claims as misleading and false.
In a statement issued by the General Manager, David Okpanachi, on behalf of the mall’s management, the organisation clarified that no agent or representative has been appointed to market the property.
“It has come to our attention that unauthorised online communications are circulating, suggesting that the mall is being offered for sale. These claims are false. The owners have not appointed any agent or representative to market the mall, and no discussions or negotiations regarding a sale are underway,” the statement said.
Okpanachi stressed that Ado Bayero Mall remains a major retail hub on Zoo Road in Kano, operating optimally and catering to the shopping, leisure and lifestyle needs of residents and visitors.
He added that operations remain stable, with the owners committed to maintaining a secure and high-quality environment for tenants, customers and the wider community.
The management advised members of the public, investors and business partners to exercise caution and avoid engaging with individuals or entities claiming to represent a sale of the mall.
Such representations, the statement warned, are unauthorised and may amount to fraudulent activity.
It added that all official information concerning Ado Bayero Mall would be communicated directly by its management and owners through verified channels only.
