…tours wards in Ondo

A pro-Tinubu group, BTO4PBAT in Ondo State, has reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement followed the conclusion of a ward-to-ward mobilisation tour in Akoko North West Local Government Area, which formed the final leg of the group’s grassroots engagement across the state.

The group, convened by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, held a grand finale that attracted party members, stakeholders and supporters from across the locality.

Speaking at the event, the Director General of the group, Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, urged residents to sustain their support for President Tinubu, describing him as the most suitable candidate for national leadership in 2027.

He also encouraged eligible voters to ensure their Permanent Voter Cards are valid, while calling on young Nigerians who have attained voting age to register and actively participate in elections.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Akoko North West, Kehinde Obanla, commended Tunji-Ojo’s performance during his tenure in the House of Representatives, describing him as a dedicated public servant.

He urged constituents to remain loyal to the APC and continue supporting its candidates in future elections.

Spokesman for the group, Gbenga Adewumi, emphasised the importance of voter participation, noting that the state recorded significant turnout in previous elections and continues to grow politically relevant.

Also speaking, the coordinator of BTO Ambassadors in the area, Idowu Aiyegbusi, said sustained support for President Tinubu would contribute to national development and stability.
