A former Minister of Aviation, Isa Yuguda, has said his primary focus is ensuring the unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State and securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Yuguda, a former governor of Bauchi State, stated this in Abuja, declaring that he would not be distracted by allegations or accusations from any quarters as he purses what he described as critical party objectives.

He was reacting to a petition allegedly written against him to the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC over the state of the party in Bauchi.

In a statement signed by Dapo Okubanjo of the Yuguda Media Office, the former minister described the petition as an attempt to tarnish his image and undermine his credibility.

He also distanced himself from the internal crisis within the APC in the state, alleging that Tuggar was responsible for fostering division and disaffection among party members.

According to the statement, Yuguda remains committed to strengthening unity within the APC in Bauchi and working towards the party’s electoral success, including Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

“He will not be distracted from those tasks by unfounded accusations from any individual or group,” the statement added.
