Seven hundred and seventy-four local governments are to benefit from the one million jobs being launched by Nigerians in Canada.

Not only that, they will equally be paid one million naira per month, using their intellectual property rights.

The founder of the project, Ben Oguntala, said they have christened the project one million challenge, which is being done in partnership with Developing Africa Group (DAG).

He said: “Its aim is to create one million jobs across all 774 local governments in Nigeria, using their intellectual property rights and paying N1 million per month.’’

Oguntala says the types of jobs they are looking at are in the areas of raw materials, sports, education, data entry, tourism, music, culture, food and others, as long as the individuals have a mobile phone and internet access.

“So what we did this time was to engage SMEDAN, as they deal with small and medium businesses in Nigeria. The government in Canada has agreed to work with them.

“They will invite them to come to Canada in May.

“If you are an athlete in Olympics, DAG can help you convert your talent into an international contract that may also include a citizenship offer.

“If you can list at least five raw materials in your community, describe them in details and their prices, DAG can help you earn one million a month selling them.

“If you are based in 774 local governments in Nigeria and have access to computer, DAG can help you earn one million naira in a month through data entry tasks.

“If you studied a specialist subject in school, DAG can help you create a service that can earn you one million naira in a month with the help of a related technology.

“If you studied health care subject, DAG can help you earn one million naira in a month by connecting you to the relevant medical technology needed in your local area, among others,’’ he said.

To qualify or register, candidates have to take an eligibility test, which costs $20 through a website:  www.japa.developing.Africa. The email is: omoakin@developing.Africa

The call to action is for people to take the eligibility test, which costs $20 and here is the link https://japa.developing.africa/auth/register
