Accion Microfinance Bank reinforces its commitment to financial inclusion with the opening of its 76th branch nationwide and third, strategically located in vibrant Wuse, Abuja.

The branch is situated at Wuse Market, Herbert Macaulay Way in Abuja.

The launch was attended by Mr. Taiwo Joda (managing director/chief executive officer), Mr. Ayodeji Mebude (group head of Operations), Mr. Stephen Olalere (chief Commercial officer), Dr. Oluwole Olaomi (consultant surgeon at National Hospital Abuja), Ayodeji Akande, (principal partner at Deji Akande & Co.), Dr. Emmanuel Adesoji (deputy commander general of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (rtd)), Mr. Vitus Okonkwo (senior legislative aide to Chike Okafor), among other notable guests.

The new branch reflects Accion MfB’s dedication to bringing inclusive and affordable financial services closer to individuals, traders, and small businesses.

Ahead of the launch, Accion MfB carried out a two-day community engagement and market sensitisation at Wuse Market, Intercontinental Plaza (Wuse Zone 3 Mall), Wuse Zone 3 shopping complex, and other notable locations. To introduce its services, strengthen relationships with traders, and promote awareness on financial literacy and empowerment.

Delivering the keynote address, Joda noted the bank’s dedication to empowering individuals and businesses through convenient, affordable, and reliable financial solutions.

“Wuse is a vital commercial centre with potential. The new branch is a deliberate step toward supporting the entrepreneurs and business owners who drive economic activity in this area. Our goal is to make financial services accessible to the people who need them most,” he said.

Mebude reaffirmed the bank’s long-term commitment that every customer who walks into this branch experiences efficiency, professionalism, and reliable service. Our systems, people, and processes are aligned to supporting businesses and individuals as they grow,” he said.

As it celebrates two decades of impact since its inception in 2006, Accion MfB has remained committed to transforming lives and businesses through inclusive and sustainable financial services.
