Vvinchy, born Ndubuisi Vincent, says his journey from the streets of Lagos to the Netherlands is shaping a distinct voice within the growing diaspora Afrobeats scene.

The Ogun State-born artist, who attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, noted that his focus is not on chasing fleeting trends but on building a lasting catalogue that reflects both his African roots and global exposure.

Operating between cultures, he developed a sound defined by balance, emotional depth, and deliberate composition, with each track crafted to sustain listener engagement over time.

Vvinchy described his music as rooted in Afrobeats but influenced by international experience, resulting in a cross-border identity marked by mood-driven production and controlled delivery. As of 2026, he has recorded over 300,000 cumulative streams across key releases and more than 3,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

He added that his catalogue reflects consistency and versatility, with songs such as “Therapy” and “Rematch” drawing strong audience response, while tracks like “Balance” and “Heaven” demonstrate range within his sound.

According to him, his approach favours mid-tempo, emotionally driven compositions over fast-paced commercial formulas, positioning his work for long-term growth rather than short-term visibility. He also maintains a minimalist, mood-focused visual identity that aligns with his musical direction.

The artist said his live performance footprint is expanding across diaspora circuits in Europe, including university shows and festival appearances, with further details to be confirmed.

Vvinchy is set to release his next single, “Overdose,” on April 17, 2026. He described the track as a continuation of his established sonic direction, built on rhythmic consistency and strong replay value, as he consolidates his position within the evolving global Afrobeats landscape.
