In a move to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery, the Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Abiodun Ejigbadero, has presented 14 vehicles to key political office holders and senior officials within the council.
The presentation, held at the council secretariat, drew the presence of council executives, legislators, management staff, and other stakeholders, all of whom commended the chairman’s commitment to strengthening governance and improving operational effectiveness.
Ejigbadero said the gesture was part of his administration’s broader agenda to empower officials with the necessary tools to effectively discharge their duties.
He stated that the provision of official vehicles would not only enhance mobility but also improve responsiveness to the needs of residents.
“This administration remains committed to building a responsive and result-oriented local government. These vehicles are not symbols of luxury, but instruments of service. I urge all beneficiaries to utilize them judiciously in the interest of the people we serve. Together, we will continue to deliver impactful governance and strengthen grassroots development,” he said.
Vice Chairman, Kehinde Shobayo, lauded the chairman for his foresight and inclusive leadership style, noting that the initiative would significantly improve coordination and service delivery across departments.

The Leader of the House, Wasiu Giwa, also commended the chairman, describing the gesture as a strong support system for the legislative arm.
“This is a commendable step towards deepening legislative efficiency. With improved mobility, we can better represent our constituents and perform our legislative duties effectively,” he said.
Council Manager, Mrs. Fregene Gbemisola, praised the chairman’s leadership and administrative acumen, noting that the initiative would enhance the overall performance of the council workforce.
Head of Department, Public Affairs, Rabiu Hassan, described the gesture as a morale booster for staff and a testament to the administration’s dedication to effective communication and public engagement.
“This initiative will greatly enhance our operational capacity, especially in information dissemination and community engagement,” he said.
