A coalition, Concerned Stakeholders for Good Governance and Progressive Representation, has identified Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi as the most credible aspirant to represent Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by its convener, Adesiyan Adebola, the group highlighted Umeadi’s leadership capacity, industry, and people-oriented approach as qualities that distinguish him among contenders for the seat.
The group noted that Umeadi, who is seeking the position under the African Democratic Congress, possesses the experience and readiness required for legislative responsibilities.
According to the statement, Umeadi had previously expressed interest in the seat during the 2023 elections and has remained committed to the constituency's development.
It added that a broad coalition of stakeholders—including community leaders, youth and women groups, professionals, and political blocs—are increasingly rallying support for his candidacy.
The group described him as a candidate who combines technocratic competence, entrepreneurial background, and grassroots engagement, expressing confidence that the 2027 elections present an opportunity for the constituency to benefit from his leadership.
They further emphasised his track record across various endeavours, stating that his performance in other sectors demonstrates his capacity to deliver effective representation in the National Assembly.
