A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Chizitere Ahubelem, has donated a mini bus to support party activities at the grassroots, in a move seen as reinforcing mobilisation efforts across the state.
The presentation took place during the inauguration of the 27 Local Government Area (LGA) party chairmen at the APC State Secretariat in Owerri.
The mini bus was formally handed over to the State Party Chairman, Chief Austin Onyedebelu, who received it on behalf of the party and subsequently presented it to Mr. Ikenna Nwosu Nwadiba, the newly inaugurated Youth Leader of Amauzari Ward in Isi Ala Mbano Local Government.

Also present at the event was the State Secretary of the party, Onyekachi Ibezim, alongside the newly inaugurated 27 LGA party chairmen and other party stakeholders.
The presentation was witnessed by the APC Chairman of Isiala Mbano Council, Chief Obichendu Onyeoma, as well as the LGA Youth Leader, Mr. Chukwuemeka Chikere.
Speaking at the event, party leaders commended the donor for the gesture, describing it as a practical contribution to strengthening party operations at the grassroots.
They noted that logistic support such as this plays a vital role in enhancing coordination, outreach and engagement within local communities.
The beneficiary, Mr. Nwadiba, expressed appreciation for the support, saying the vehicle would be effectively utilised to advance party activities and deepen youth participation within the ward.
Observers also recalled that Isiala Mbano Local Government Youth Leader, Mr. Chikere, had previously benefited from a similar gesture under the past leadership of the party, a development attributed to his diligence and commitment, which also earned him retention in office.
Party faithful at the event reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the APC’s grassroots presence, emphasising a shared resolve to continue improving organisational capacity and delivering on the party’s objectives across the state.
The donation is widely seen as part of ongoing efforts by party stakeholders to invest in structures that will sustain unity, participation and effective political engagement at all levels.
