APC elders hail Oyedele on appointment as minister of finance
The Ondo APC Elders Movement for Tinubu has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment of Mr. Taiwo Oyedele as the substantive Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

Reacting to the development, the Coordinator of the movement, Otunba Agboola Kelly, described the appointment as well-deserved and a strategic move that would further strengthen fiscal governance and economic reforms in the country.
“Mr. Oyedele is a thoroughbred professional with proven competence and integrity,” he stated.

He noted that with this latest appointment, Ondo State now boasts of three substantive Ministers in the current administration.
"His elevation to substantive Minister is a testament to his dedication and the confidence reposed in him by Mr. President,” he added.

He further stated that Oyedele’s appointment comes at a critical time when Nigeria needs experienced hands to drive sustainable economic growth, stabilize the fiscal environment, and implement sound policies that will benefit ordinary Nigerians.
The movement expressed confidence that under Oyedele’s leadership, the Ministry of Finance will continue to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, particularly in the areas of revenue generation, prudent expenditure management, and attracting foreign investments.
Otunba Kelly urged all stakeholders in the financial sector to support the new Minister in his efforts to reposition the nation’s economy for greater productivity and inclusiveness.
The movement also prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the new minister as he discharges his duties.
