A governorship aspirant in All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Dr Samuel Ajose, has urged party leaders in Badagry to unite.

Ajose gave the advice at a stakeholders’ meeting involving leaders in the three local governments and local council development areas (LCDAs) in Badagry.

He said he had visited other local governments and LCDAs in Lagos State preaching unity, to ensure APC emerges victorious at the polls.

Ajose added: ‘’As part of our consultations, we have visited local governments and LCDAs in Lagos to meet APC leaders. We feel this is the time to come down to Badagry.

“We feel this is the time to meet the leadership of APC in Badagry and advise them to come together as one, understanding the benefits of unity.’’

He said that was the first political meeting to be held and attended by all party leaders since the death of Dr Sunny Ajose, former APC apex leader in Badagry.

Joseph Bamgbose, APC leader in Badagry-West LCDA, hailed party leaders for attending the meeting.

He thanked the governorship aspirant for convening the parley.
