ASHA Microfinance Bank has carried out a Clean-A-Market Campaign and Medical Outreach at Oshodi market, and unveiled its Mafoluku‑Oshodi Branch.

It was designed to align with Lagos State’s efforts to promote clean, safe, and organised market environments.

The day began with a coordinated Clean-A-Market exercise, where workers, traders, volunteers, and community leaders collaborated to restore cleanliness and order in the market. This was followed by a free outreach, providing health screenings, consultations, and essential healthcare services to traders and the community.

Highlight of the event was unveiling of Mafoluku-Oshodi Branch, reflecting ASHA’s commitment to enhancing customer comfort, convenience, and overall banking experience.  Beyond aesthetics, the branch represents ASHA’s investment in service excellence and financial inclusion for traders and small business owners.

“This initiative is more than just a clean market or a medical outreach,” said Funmilola Paseda-Oladoyinbo, managing director/chief executive.

“It is a statement of our commitment to people. We are here to support their health, businesses, and quality of life. Community development is not an optional part of banking, it is central to who we are.”

The outreach ended with presentation of a waste bin to the market authorities to sustain the cleanliness drive.
