Nigerian music producer and digital creator, Ogunremi David Tope, popularly known as ePianoh, has recounted his experience meeting veteran music executive Don Jazzy, describing him as one of the most humble and selfless figures in the country’s music industry.

Speaking after a recent visit to Don Jazzy’s Lagos base, ePianoh said the encounter left a lasting impression on him, both professionally and mentally.

He noted that the music executive embodies a rare blend of playfulness and discipline.

According to him, Don Jazzy’s personality reflects humility that transcends age, status, and hierarchy within the industry.

“I met Don Jazzy and that man is selfless and humble! He doesn’t care about age, status or anything but just pure love from a man who will selflessly go extra miles to make sure you smile,” epianoh remarked.

ePianoh described the music genius as someone who maintains a high-spirited and playful atmosphere but switches instantly into a focused business mindset when necessary.

“He is extremely playful, always in high spirit, but when it’s time to work there is a big switch. He has this serious ‘this is business’ vibe even as he is being in very good spirit,” he added. ePianoh also noted that being around Don Jazzy offers more than just industry exposure but also a shift in mindset and perspective, especially for upcoming creatives navigating the music business. “You can’t be around Don constantly and have a poor mindset. He will always open you up to things you don’t see,” ePianoh said.
