Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, has declared that the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a personal project for him.

He pledged his total support towards its success.

Bello made the statement while receiving members of the pro-Tinubu support group, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement, at his residence in Abuja.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that the party gave him his first political opportunity, which led to his emergence and re-election as governor, as well as the opportunity to produce his successor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and several other elected officials across the state since 2016.

“How can I be ungrateful to such a political party? President Tinubu's re-election project is personal to me as a party man and because of the Renewed Hope programmes already bringing progress to our nation,” Bello said.

He assured the group of his readiness to work with his young brother, Barrister Seyi Tinubu and members of the movement to ensure victory at the polls at all times.

Speaking on the mandate of the organisation, the leadership of the RTIFN Movement explained that the group was established to mobilise citizens across communities, educate the grassroots on government policies, promote the Renewed Hope agenda, counter misinformation, and strengthen support for President Tinubu's programmes ahead of the next general elections.

The National Coordinator, Ambassador Ahmed Bala, commended Bello for his contributions to the party and his commitment to national development, describing him as a dependable pillar in strengthening the party's structure in the North Central region.

Bello was thereafter decorated as one of North Central's patrons of the movement to help coordinate mobilisation and engagement across the region under the leadership of the founder, Barrister Seyi Tinubu.

Those present included Amb. Felix Arome (National Secretary ), Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade (National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilisation), Mr. Musa Abdulrahaman (National Publicity Secretary), Rt. Hon. David Idris Zakariya (Member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Kogi Project Coordinator), alongside other states and national executives of the movement.
