Eminent personalities from across Nigeria gathered at the TFK Event Centre in Guzape, Abuja, to celebrate the 60th birthday of Olowu of Kuta’s Olori, Queen Jumai Amoke, alongside the launch of her humanitarian initiative, the Amoke Children and Mother in Need Foundation.

Among those in attendance were former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusuf Buratai; the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi; the Olofa of Offa, Mufutau Gbadamosi; and businesswoman Bola Shagaya.

Other dignitaries included senior military officers, traditional rulers, captains of industry, and public officials from different parts of the country.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Host and Olowu of Kuta, Adekunle Oyelude Makama, commended the celebrant for her compassion and commitment to humanitarian service, describing the foundation as timely given current economic challenges.

He praised her dedication to supporting the less privileged and expressed confidence that her impact would continue to grow.

Buratai congratulated the celebrant on attaining 60 in good health, noting that her generosity and hospitality had earned her the widespread goodwill reflected in the large turnout.

Fagbemi also lauded Queen Jumai for her concern for vulnerable groups, urging guests to support the foundation’s mission to alleviate poverty and improve lives.

In her remarks, Queen Jumai expressed appreciation for the support and turnout, pledging to deploy available resources and donations toward assisting the needy. She also thanked her husband, dignitaries, family, and friends for their encouragement and presence at the event.

"I want to appreciate my own Kabiesi Olofa of Offa, for his presence and im I'm using him as a point of contact to all other Kabiesis present here, the minister of justice and Attorney-General, you're welcome, sir; Mrs Bola Shagaya, I salute your enterprise, Lt Gen Buratai, I'm grateful, sir; DIG Fayoade, Justice Falola and other dignitaries too numerous to mention, I thank you, all.  To my darling husband, Kabiesi Olowu, I thank you immensely for your support. And to my family and friends, I thank you all," she said.
