Veteran comedian Ali Baba has thanked Air Peace for recovering his iPad, which he lost on a flight with the airline on February 28.

In a post on Instagram, Ali Baba said he thought the device was gone forever and was considering a GoFundMe to replace the 13.9-inch, 1TB iPad.

He noted that even a used unit in the UK now costs over N1 million.

The comedian thanked the airline for recovering the item months after it went missing.

He confirmed the airline eventually found the iPad and returned it. “Thank you @flyairpeace…. I have received my iPad. I actually thought it was lost and gone forever… since February 28th…And just before I did a #gofundme to get another 13.9″ 1 TB iPad. Even the UK used don reach 1 m plus… finally @flyairpeace found my iPad. Thank you @flyairpeace".
