The court case involving the driver of a vehicle that injured former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and killed two of his team members has been adjourned until March 13.

The incident occurred on December 29 when a Lexus SUV, carrying the 36-year-old boxer, collided with a stationary lorry on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The crash claimed the lives of Joshua’s personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and his strength coach, Sina Ghami, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.

While Joshua was hospitalized following the collision, he was discharged two days later. Prosecutors requested the adjournment to further prepare evidence for the ongoing trial.
