Deborah’s Impact Projects Africa (DIPA), under the People of Influence Network, impacted 287 beneficiaries, including vulnerable women and widows in Lagos through its March Joseph’s Project Outreach, delivering both spiritual support and material relief.
The outreach, held in Oniru, Lagos, in collaboration with This Is Jacob, also recorded a significant spiritual outcome: 31 individuals committed their lives to Christ, reflecting what organisers described as a dual mission of faith and welfare intervention.
The programme commenced with an opening prayer led by DIPA Project Lead, Diezani Ototo-Onuorah, setting a reflective tone for the event. This was followed by a praise and worship session that engaged participants and prepared the ground for subsequent activities.
As the outreach progressed, Isi Igenegba delivered encouraging messages in Pidgin, connecting with the diverse audience while offering prayers and blessings for beneficiaries and organisers alike.
The message session was reinforced by DIPA Lead, Nkoyo Bambi Ugbe, whose teaching—supported by Yoruba interpretation—ensured inclusivity and clarity. The session culminated in an altar call, during which 31 participants made faith commitments.
Beyond the spiritual engagement, the outreach provided tangible support: 287 welfare packages containing essential food items were distributed to attendees. Cooked meals were also served on-site, offering immediate relief, particularly to widows invited through a dedicated association as part of DIPA’s targeted intervention for vulnerable groups.
Reflecting on the initiative, Ugbe said Joseph’s Project continues to reflect the organisation’s mission of delivering hope through practical action, addressing both the spiritual and material needs of individuals.
Also speaking, Ototo-Onuorah emphasised the structured approach behind the intervention, noting that “every outreach represents not just numbers, but real lives touched and communities strengthened.”
The outreach, which recorded 287 people fed, 287 welfare packages distributed, and 31 souls saved, highlights the impact of coordinated humanitarian and faith-based collaboration, the organisers stressed.
DIPA reiterated its commitment to sustaining interventions across its core focus areas, including education and welfare, healthcare access, food security, and economic empowerment. The organisation noted that it operates with strong governance systems such as financial transparency, beneficiary safeguarding, and monitoring and evaluation to ensure accountability and measurable outcomes.
DIPA also extended appreciation to its partners, volunteers, and supporters, particularly "This Is Jacob", for their role in delivering a successful outreach.
