Businessman and singer E-Money has handed over a N50 million cheque to streamer Carter Efe, fulfilling a cash reward pledged after Efe’s victory over Portable in their celebrity boxing match.
The presentation was held at E-Money’s residence and recorded on video, which circulated online.
Reacting with a picture on Instagram, Carter Efe wrote: “Congratulations to me. Jesussss”.
Carter Efe was joined by singer Kcee, music executive Soso Soberekon, and members of his team during the handover.
E-Money made the pledge immediately after the May 1st fight and delivered on it days later.
The moment follows Carter Efe’s earlier public remarks about the delay in receiving the prize money.
