Stakeholders, youths and women in Emevor community, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, have declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and the aspiration of Mr. Orobosa Ashakah for Isoko North State Constituency seat in the House of Assembly.
The endorsement was made during a community engagement held at Emevor Civic Centre, in collaboration with Eniwake Leadership Alliance and led by the President of Isoko National Youth Assembly (INYA), Comrade Eniwake Orogun.
Orogun said Ashakah had remained committed to the development of Isoko land despite not holding any public office, describing him as accessible, grassroots-oriented and capable of attracting meaningful projects to the constituency if elected.
He praised Ashakah for facilitating scholarship opportunities for youths in Emevor and other parts of Isoko through the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), noting more than 200 beneficiaries from the area are enjoying educational support.
Orogun also called for support for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, hailing the governor for infrastructural development in the area, especially the completed Phase One and ongoing Phase Two of Emevor-Orogun Road project, which he described as a major relief for residents.
President-General of Emevor Progress Union, Chief Emmanuel Erezih, also backed Ashakah, saying the community must stand firmly behind one of its own.

“I stand firm in my resolve for the Orobosa Ashakah mandate. I will not abandon an Emevor indigene to support an outsider,” he said.
Erezih, who is also Executive Assistant to the Governor on Beautification, said the ongoing road project had improved life in the community, adding that Governor Oborevwori’s performance had earned him strong support ahead of the 2027 elections.
Other community leaders and political stakeholders, including Chief Emmanuel Erhire, Chief Sylvester Ifode, Chief Lucky Okeremu, Mr Isaiah Ogunye and Comrade Samuel Ohwoka, described Ashakah as a capable and people-oriented leader.
They assured residents and stakeholders that Emevor would deliver massive support for the party in the next general election.
