Chair of Wale Adenuga Productions, PEFTI Film Institute and WAPTV, Wale Adenuga, has been appointed grand patron of Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria, the body of producers of content for TV, radio, online platforms, etc. at an induction in Lagos.

Adenuga said: “As one of the founding fathers of the association, I am proud of what it has become, with its members who have kept the organisation’s flag flying ensuring content creators are properly represented as they pursue their creative and business endeavours. I will never take such a honour for granted and will perform my role with the same hardwork and integrity that has sustained my empire over the years, and years to come”.

Also appointed as patron, was Yinka Adebayo, group executive director of Omnicom Media Group, West and Central Africa.

Present at the event, among others, were Raphael Akpan, director of Lagos office of National Broadcasting Commission; BOT members of the association; Dr. Opa Williams (chairman); Chief Emeka Ossai; Madam Agatha Amata;n Mrs. Deborah Odutayo; Mrs Jibe Ologeh; Association’s President, Mr. Adeniji Omirin, members; and the press.
