Former Besiktas striker Nihat Kahveci has praised Paul Onuachu’s physical prowess, calling him the most dominant aerial threat in the Super Lig.
Kahveci’s admiration came after Onuachu’s display in Trabzonspor’s 3-2 loss to Fenerbahçe at Papara Park on Saturday evening.
The Nigerian international scored Trabzonspor’s second goal with a powerful header, connecting perfectly with a cross from Mathias Fjørtoft Løvik.
Speaking on the Kontraspor YouTube channel, Kahveci highlighted that Onuachu’s combination of size and aerial ability makes him almost impossible to defend against.

“From that cross that was delivered, I don’t see any centre-back profile capable of stopping Onuachu. Maybe there isn’t one in the world," Kahveci said as reported by T24.
The former Southampton striker has been in electrifying form, netting 16 goals and registering one assist in 19 league matches.
His prolific run has propelled him to the top of the scorers’ chart, edging out Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov by one goal, even though he has played two fewer games.
