Scholars and economic experts have called for rebuilding of the Nigerian system, in line with the goals of national development.
They spoke at the launch of a book titled, ‘Transforming Nations A-Z of Goal Setting- Discovering Winning Nuggets’, written by Ibeleogute Emmanuel.
Guest speaker, Uche Etiaba, said unless the country evolved a system that aligned with its goals, it would not make progress.
She said: “Clarity creates movement and those nations that developed did so through clear set goals and intentional drive.”
She cited Singapore and Rwanda as examples and called on the country’s leadership to align system with vision and goals.

Etiaba praised the author for his book, describing it as a masterpiece. She appealed to leaders to read the book and apply its principles.
The book reviewer, Kore Oladimeji, said the 26- chapter book was written in simple prose that resonated to readers with the ability to exploit opportunities around them.
Oladimeji said: “For me, the book is a manual that reinforces time tested truths. There are many things I learnt for the first time from the book”.
The author said the book was the outcome of many years of meditation and work as a life coach.
He said: “I came up with the book to make it easy as a life coach consultant to transform the lives of people.”
He expressed confidence that the book contained transformative powers and advised leaders at all levels to invest in human capital development.
The Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development, Ruhuoma Kejeh, represented by the Head of Youth Education and Counselling, Mrs Veronica Oborolo, congratulated the author on the successful launch of the book.
The permanent secretary described the book as timely and commendable, noting it would serve as a practical guide and a source of inspiration for youths striving to achieve personal growth and success.
